Stevens Worldwide Van Lines is established by Frederick H. Stevens, Jr. in Saginaw, Mich.

1928

First transcontinental motor van move completed by Bekins

Earnest S. Wheaton forms Clipper Van Lines

1951

Clipper Van Lines renamed Wheaton Van Lines, Inc.

1962

Paul Arpin & Sons becomes a national van line, changes name to Paul Arpin Van Line

1987

Wheaton Van Lines's logo is changed as company officially begins doing business as Wheaton World Wide Moving

2008

Mark Kirschner, a long-term Wheaton manager, named Chief Executive Officer

2012

Bekins Van Lines purchased by Wheaton World Wide Moving

2013

Company Chairman Stephen Burns appointed Chairman of the American Moving & Storage Association (AMSA) for two-year term

A.J. Schneider named Executive Vice President

Clark & Reid purchased by Wheaton World Wide Moving

2015

Highly anticipated new traffic management system released to agency network

2016

Van line announced as 2015 American Moving & Storage Association (AMSA) Fleet Safety award winner in 20-to-50 million miles category

2019

Stevens Worldwide Van Lines purchased by Wheaton World Wide Moving

2020

Arpin Van Lines purchased by Wheaton World Wide Moving, expanding the agency family to nearly 400 agents

All five brands (Wheaton World Wide Moving, Bekins Van Lines, Stevens Worldwide Van Lines, Arpin Van Lines, and Clark & Reid) become collectively known as The Wheaton Group
